I am 22 years old and I was on birth control for 7 years. I got off the pill in January of 2013, since then my periods have been pretty normal, just longer cycles (33-35 days) but they were 7 days long and not too heavy or too light. In September, maybe a week or so after my period would usually be due I had some light spotting for 3 days. I didn't think it was my period, I thought maybe I was pregnant because I also had a lot of pregnancy symptoms. I went to the doctor and she said that it was most likely a light period. This month now it has been 51 days since I have had a period, if that one in September was a period. A few weeks ago I had a tiny spec of blood after going to the bathroom, and then nothing until a couple days later I had the same thing again, just once. And then another few days later I had some light brown spotting a little more this time and just once. And since then I have had nothing. I have taken two pregnancy tests and they have been negative. Also for the past week or so I have had a lot of stomach pain for hours at a time, every day and nothing helps. I do have an appointment for a physical exam in 3 days but I am worried, about all these weird things happening, and I want to know why all the sudden my period is going all wacky after being normal for 8 months of being off of the pill.
