Has Hodgkin's, Weakness, Labored Breathing, Vomiting, Has Lymphnodes, Fluid In Lungs, Loss Of Energy. Will She Be Okay?
I am very concerned about my partner, she was told over a month ago the she had Hodgkin's... over the last few weeks she has become weaker and weaker and isn't ready to go to a oncologist . Her breathing has become labored and I can hear fluid in her lungs , she coughs all the time and throws up frequently. Her strength has gone to almost zero, and she has lost almost 20lbs in the last 6 weeks. She has passed out 2 times to my knowledge in the last 2 weeks. What can I do to make her see the importance of getting help? Last night she allowed me to feel each of her primary lympnodes and I can feel that there are several lumps ! Please advise me in what to do and how I can take care of her without crossing her requests of calling her family for outside help. I fear for her !! Thank you for your advise !
HI Thank for asking to HCM, I can under stand your concern, is she on treatment? chemotherapy, radiation therapy or both,, the over all treatment plan is depend upon the stage of disease , as you have not mentioned it, so difficult to discus it here, there are newer chemotherapy drugs available, having fairly good percentage rate of survival of patient, you better discus it, all with the oncologist, or with oncophysician,, take care of her,, Have nice day.
