Hard String Like Feeling Going From Armpit To The Arms After Treatment For Lymphangitis?

I have had lymphangitis (red streaks from inside elbow to armpit) in my left arm and was given antibiotics (flucloxacillin) a couple of weeks ago. The red streaks turned yellow (like a bruise) and cleared up, but I am left with a feeling of a hard string like feeling going from my armpit down the inside of my arm and I can feel it (and see it) on the inside of my elbow joint. It hurts a bit and limits my ability to extend my arm. Yesterday I accidentally stretched my arm out and it felt like it popped. It feels like a rubber band pulled tight inside my arm. Is this a complication of lymphangitis? Could there still be some infection there? Should I get it checked?
