Had Unprotected With Unknown Woman, Rapid HIV Antibody Test Negative. Should I Test Any More?

Hi!Sorry for my English.I am a Bangladeshi.I did an unprotected sex with an unknown HIV status woman about 15 months ago.after three months of my potential expose i did a rapid HIV antibody test,the result was negative.recently after 12 months I did another HIV rapid test and it was also negative.My question is should i test any more?

Hi, welcome to HCm, I am Dr. Das
for declaring that you have not get HIV infection, 3 HIV test required, first as basic, second after 3 months, third after 6 months.
So, from your history, it can be said that there is rare chance of getting HIV infection.
But, if you want confirmation, do a DNA PCR study .

Thanks for query.
After 3 moths HIV test becomes positive so you have gone for test for HIV 2 times after 3 months of exposure and both tests are negative so it is lee likely to have HIV.
