Had Unprotected Sex. Having Intermittent Fever, Dry Mouth And Bad Taste With White Deposit On Tongue. Suggest?

Hi Doctor. I had unprotected one night stand with a girl i met in a night club on 29th June. For past 2 weeks i am having intermittent fever in the evening which goes away in the morning. I also have dry mouth and bad taste and had white deposit on my tongue in the morning. There were a few nights when i had night sweat. I am having cough and difficulty in breathing.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

You must immediately consult your doctor and get a complete general check up including tests for sexually transmitted diseases and HIV screening.
A chest X ray would help considering you are having cough and difficulty in breathing.

First you need to confirm and STD or HIV infection and take appropriate treatment in required.
Please remember to use condom next time with your partner.

Hope this helps
