You didn't mention what protection you used during intercourse.
If that was
hormonal method like emergency pill, that can lead to withdrawal bleeding.
You should not take tablets with out consulting the doctor.
As you took the
contraceptive pills in the middle of the month, that will not help in preventing the
pregnancy.
Contraceptive pills can help in decreasing the bleeding by altering the hormonal levels.
But when you stop the pills that can lead to withdrawal bleeding.
While using the pills also brown discharge, intermenstrual spotting etc can be seen.
Brown color usually indicates the collected blood.
So you observe this cycle, possibly the discharge will subside soon.
Then from next month onwards choose some regular method of
contraception with your doctor's advice.
