Had Sex, Periods Missing. Shall I Go For Pregnancy Test?

Hi, I am a married women. My last period date was Jan 21st and i have a cycle of 28 days. I havent got my periods yet and I am worried because I am not ready for pregnancy yet. I Suffered from Typhoid in 1st week of feb and was travelling continuously in the 2-3 week of feb. Could you please tell me what can be the reason and what can i do to get my periods back. I am scared to do a test as the results may be positive

Thanks for the query.
Missed periods could be due to many reasons.
Some of them are pregnancy, hormonal imbalance, thyroid problem, emotional disturbance, stress and ovarian cyst.
I suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test. If it is negative, consult your Gynecologist to narrow down the causes of missed periods.
