Had Sex, Bleeding 2-3 Drops. Am I Pregnant?

Hi! My last menstruation was last January 30, 2013(first day). Usually my menstruation ranges for 3 days and I have a regular period which is 28 days, am I right? on Feb 15 or 16, I had a intercourse with my BF, not protected . Then on February 27th, I had a very little bleeding maybe just 3 drops of blood. then the next day only 1-2 drops and some small lumps . I think this is my menstruation, but still afraid if I m pregnant.Do I need to take a pregnancy test or not? Thanks in advance!

Hello,

First of all, you did unprotected sex around fertile days or close to the ovulation time as per your LMP. Bleeding with clots (small lump) around period due date mostly indicates implantation bleeding.

Here, you need to undergo one blood test for beta HCG & TVS scan to rule out the product of conception if any.

After that, you can consult with your gynecologist for next line of management. Maintain genital hygiene properly, avoid stress & take balanced diet.

Be well & take care.
