Had pregnancy symptoms. Got bleeding. Miscarriage?

Hello, For weeks I was convinced I was pregnant. I had all of the symptoms, tender breasts, mood swings, nausea, headaches, frequent urination, ect.. The a week before my period was due I started to bleed. It was stringy, and clotty, but red. This lasted two days. Now today it has been dark brown. It seems like when i started bleeding my symptoms of pregnancy started to go away. What is going on with me?

thanks for query.
First just let me know what is your age,are you sexually active.
All symptoms may be because of premenstrual syndrom.(symptoms before menstruation)
have you done your pregnancy test, that is positive or what.
In my advice take rest, eat leafy vegetables, take balance diet with less oil.
everything will be fine.
Take care.

Psychiatrist Dr. Jonas Sundarakumar's  Response
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

Though the symptoms which you have described are common in pregnancy, still they are not definitive or confirmatory of pregnancy. Moreover, you have mentioned that you have had a period a week before your expected date.

In this case, it is likely that you are just having irregular periods due to a hormonal imbalance. Your symptoms such as mood swings, tender breasts, headaches, etc. could also be due to this reason.

If your bleeding becomes excessive or if periods continue to be irregular, I would suggest that you see a gynecologist for a detailed evaluation and further treatment.

Wish you all the best.
