Had Patella Tendon Surgery, Having Lot Of Knee Popping And Cracking. What Could Be Happening?
Hello, about a 18 months ago I had patella tendon surgery. I snapped my tendon in half playing basketball. I had it surgically repaired. It healed well and i resumed basketball. Around May of this year my knee started feeling weird. Now there is a lot of popping and cracking. Sounds like grinding as well. After I play basketball it swells and stiffens. Now when i run it feels like the bone maybe touching the other bone. Im not sure on that. But im not explosive as i was a few months ago. I started strength training weeks ago. Its helping a little. I guess when i move in a lateral position to cut ,my knee feels like its going to give. Any suggestions. Thanks
Hi, you are having the pain and swelling now, it is post operative period , so you should be cautious, and consult your operating surgeon immediately. you may have some relief with the medicines, but can't be permanent. Avoid taking potato, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods. Thank you.
