Had Cough For Weeks With Yellow To White Sputum. X-ray Showed RLL Density. What Could It Be?

I had a cough that lasted several weeks. Sputum ranged in color from yellow to white. I had a chest xray done and discovered i had a RLL density. What possiblities could be? I realize it may be a tumor but what else could it might be. My last TB test was negative and was done a few years ago. The cough is almost gone now. I quit smoking in 1994. I will probably have a f/u CT scan.
