Suggest An Antifungal Cream For The Treatment Of Balanitis

Had all std testing done thankfully none. But I have male balantitis, I believe a condom & sex toys that I realized we re infested with mold caused this. I am circumcised & have had red bumps reappear after a couple of weeks or so. I switch to a different antifungal creme & it goes away for a while again. Am I going to have this problem for the rest of my life? I heard about Fucidin H will it help kill this for good? Or what is the best hands down anti fungal or anti bacterial cream to use?

Hi,

Yes, balanitis stays for long

Make sure you are not getting reinfection from your partner. An antifungal medication needs to be taken for a month.

If your problem persists need to take antifungal with steroid local application and clotrimazole tablet course.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
