Had A Total Vaginal Hysterectomy. Used Bladder Sling?
In 1986 I had a total vaginal hysterectomy and while my doctor was in there he said he did a little work on my bladder as well. He said it was a simple easy standard fix when a hysterectomy was done that way. The surgery eliminated all of my health issues at that time and everything is fine and has been since (I believe he was an excellent doctor and did an excellent job ) but I was wondering, would he have used a bladder sling at that time?

It seems that along with hysterectomy he might have done bladder prolapse repair.
He might have noticed lax bladder support or cestocele and so he done repair.
