Freckles On Cheeks, Nose. Wants To Do Laser Treatment. Cost, Duration And Length Of Treatment?

i have freckles in my face,not extream only cheeks and nose area.i want to go for laser treatment.i am 33 yrs.5.1 feet ,weight 52.please assist me with complete details about price,duration of treatment,how many sittings,how effective.i want to do the treatment in XXX as it is near to my place.please suggest hospitals .

Hi,
Freckles are formed due to sun exposure and thus over activation of color producing cells known as melanocytes. Laser treatment is though effective but recurrence is a common problem, so think twice before going for laser. It is a costly procedure and mutiple sitting of 3-4 sessions may be needed. Each session lasts for around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Consult a experienced dermatologist before going for the procedure. Mean while use a good sunscreen 3-4 times a day to prevent further darkening of freckles.
