Found Left Pupil Larger Than Right. No Papilledema, Normal Retina, Optic Nerve. Not Hypertensive, Diabetic. Reason?

I awoke Monday morning and the left pupil was 2 mm larger than the right. An ophthalmologist exam was normal with no papillaedema, normal retina, and optic nerve. The MD thought is as possibly a reaction from plant material I had been handling over the weekend. This morning the left pupil was considerably restricted. I am not hypertensive, diabetic and have not had a headache.
