Hello.welcome.Both are same.This is a viral marker for Hepatitis B infection.HBsAg (surface antigen) is present is present 1 to 6 months after the exposure.The persistence of HBsAg for more than 6 months defines carrier status and occurs in 5 to 10% of infections.Good luck.
