Foot Injury, Bruise, Burning Sensation On Top Of Foot. Nerve Injury?

I remember having something fall on the top of my foot over a month ago and it caused a bruise ...2 weeks ago I stopped wearing flip flops and started wearing my clogs...I have been getting a burning sensation on the top of my foot that comes and goes...as of two days ago I stopped wearing the clogs and started wearing a good sneaker..Do you think it is nerve damage?

greetings,
sometimes on healing the nerves get a little misaligned.normally body has its own mechanism.
due to these misconnections sometimes they might give the tingling sensations.
but again u need to be examined for the definitive diagnosis.
