For several weeks I have been experiencing high stomach or low esophagus twinges along with back twinges at about the same level. They are not really painful -- just annoying. They are sometimes accompanied by mild anxiety. I usually experience relief for a while after a bowel movement . Eating doesn t seem to relieve or exacerbate these twinges. I take Nexium . I have been experiencing stress at work lately. I also have some arthritis in my back and neck.
