Feeling Dizzy And Have Headache. Had Inguinal Hernia Surgery. Surgery Scar Smells Of Metal And Blood. What Is Wrong With Me?

Hi, I'm a 20 year old male, I've had surgery last year for inguinal hernia, I was looking at my scar when I felt something heavy and a strong smell of metal or blood, the smell is persistent and has been there for a couple of hours, I feel a bit dizzy and have a headache, I am we'll hydrated and on a high protein diet
what is wrong with me?

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
Based on your symptoms, it is possible that you are having a migraine attack with aura. Usually, migraine is associated with visual aura, but olfactory (related to smell) is seen in some.
If this is the first time, you should get evaluated by a neurologist to find out the underlying cause, especially the temporal lobe problems.
