Face Full Of Acne After Started Taking Iron Tablets During Pregnancy. Is It Due To Side Effect?
hi........... Iam 31 weeks pregnant my doctor told me to take iron tablets twice a day because of iron deficiency. Iam taking them since 25 days. now my face is totally filled with acne. is this happend because of taking iron tablets? could u please tell me?

Hi..Acne is a common skin disorder known to occur in 80%people between 11 years and 30 years of age and 5%of older adults.
Acne is most commonly caused by hormonal influences and as you are pregnant there is high level of oestrogen hormone and due to this you are having acne on your face. I don't think any relation between taking iron tablets and acne on your face.
