Experiencing A Dull Ache In Chest, Tightness, No Pain. What Can Be Done?

Hi, for the past couple of weeks I have been experiencing a dull ache in the left hand side of my chest about three ribs up. It is a tightness feeling, like a weight. Although not 'painful' it is uncomfortable when I sleep and gets particularly more prominent when I lie on my side (both). I am 21, female, thin/average weight. I have also had some recent reoccurring trouble with what I think is thrush, if that is relevant.

Dear friend
After seeing to your symptoms, i think you might be suffering from muscular pain (as you have suggested pain will vary on sleeping to lateral side). You can take simple analgesics with muscle relaxants. You have not mentioned about your profession, usually muscle pain is common with heavy workers and also who sit for long time in improper position. As you said you are thin, just get checked your hemoglobin in order to rule out anaemia which is prevalent in the world. Your other problem ie thrush is nothing to do with this.
Thank you
