Ear Infection, Redness, Look Burnt. Used Dettol. Are They Permanently Damaged?
My daughter wanted to change her earrings. We changed them still using the earring spray from chemist but they were getting infected. I soaked some gold earrings in dettol and put in my daughters ears. I didn't dilute the dettol. We got rid if the infection but her ears look red and burnt. Have I permanently damaged her ears? We are going on a holiday in 3 weeks, will she be able to swim?
Hi, It seems that she might be having some chemical burn with some infection. Remove earrings from her ear for some time i.e about a week. Clean the site properly and apply antibiotic cream daily. Go for one antibiotic medicine course for3 days. After wound heals she can do swimming. Ok and take care.
