Hello. My husband is 52, of normal weight, bp 128/80, on simvastatin for cholesterol (that is his only prescription drug) and daily 81 mg of aspirin, and vitamins, and fish oil capsules daily. He just had his first EKG today, at my request, because his mother died in her early fifties of heart disease, and I wanted to make sure he is ok. The results, which our doc says she wants to analyze further and get back to us, said he has "right axis-consider right ventricular hypertrophy", and also "T-axis- 47-abnormal". This sounds worrying, and the bit of research I have done online since coming home from the the doc's office shows me that it could be either that he was born with it, or, gosh, I don't know. I was hoping you could shed some light, until we can find out more. Just basic stuff. Thanks ever so much.
