Done EKG And Health Checkup. Mild Leak. Is It A Matter Of Concern?
I decided to go and hae a hearlth check up only because I have never had one and I just turned 58. I had an ekg said it wadx fine. Did a heart ultrasound was told everything looked good padsed. Blood flowing as it should etc. Then he just said in passing like it was nothing. It did show a very mild leak very very mild nothing to be concerned about. Normal as you age? Is this so?

Yes, indeed different valves of heart leak to some extent (trivial or mild) in majority of population. This proportion goes on increasing with age. Hence a very mild leak is likely to be normal. Except for aortic valve, trivial or mild leak is as common as 2/3rd of population.
