Does Yoga Help Regain Flexibility Post A Hip Surgery?

I recently had drilling surgery bilaterally on hips, knees, and ankles. I find that after a month from surgery, i am still in immense pain in my knees. Would yoga be a suitable therapy treatment in helping with regaining my range of motion and flexibility?

Hello

Yes you may get relief with yoga therapy.
Avoid full flexion and rotation

You may have good relief with physiotherapy like IFT [Interferential therapy] and TENS[Transcutaneous electrostimulation] along with ultrasound.
So if possible you can start that.

You can wait for a month more and then you may consult your doctor.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
