Does Taking Birth Control Pills During Periods Cause Any Side Effects?

Hello I have a question about a thing that worries me and my partner. She started taking anty pregnancy tablets straight on the begging of her period and she s bleeding everyday now for about two weeks later. Should we worry about it or it s OK and we should just wait for the end of her period?

Pregnancy control pills or oral contraceptives have thier own side effects like over weight or obesity or dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Consult a gynaecologist for her periods to stop. There after undergo usg pelvis and abdomen ,pap smear to rule out any cysts or polyps.
