Does Steroid Injection Cause Any Side Effects?
Hello doctor. I have a keloid on my chin which came as a result of shaving wound. It has become fairly visible and is affecting my confidence. I would like to know where i can get it removed in Trivandrum. I would like to know if the steroid injection will have side effects like other steroids. Is there a PDL treatment centre in Trivandrum, Kerala?

Steroid injection is used in the treatment of various inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, psoriasis, SLE, blood disorders, inflammatory bowel disease like crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, certain cancers and many more. But like other medications this medication has some side effects of its own. It may cause nausea, vomiting, headache, sweating, dizziness, fatigue, changes in appetite, easily bruising or bleeding, delayed wound healing, changes in sleep patterns, mood swings, increased growth of body hair, muscle weakness, changes in body weight, acnes and many more. Again, PDL or The Pulse Dye Laser treatment center is available in Trivandrum, Kerala such as Dr. RK's Laser Skin Care Center, Serene Skin & Laser Centre, WowFactor MediCosmetic Skin & Laser Centre etc.
