Does Replacement Of Mirena Causes Pain In Thigh, Back, Right Groin?

I had a hysteroscopy to remove and replace my Mirena coil 2 days ago, my surgeon advised it was embedded and difficult to remove - I'd had 2 previous attempts at the GP before referral to gynae specialist.
I have pain in the right groin, abdomen and also back and thigh pain, should I be concerned?

Hello,

No i don't think that it is a matter of concern if the mirena coil is removed , i think as it was deeply embedded so it's removal was difficult so I would suggest. that you should start analgesics and pain will reduce by 4 to 5 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
