Does Prolactin Level Affect The Chances Of Pregnancy?

Hello Doctor, I am a married female of 32 years of age (height 150cm). Married since 2011 . We have not tried for kids till now. Got a thyroid and prolactin test done last week. Thyoid hormonal levels were normal but Prolactin level was 98.9ng/ml. Will it affect our chances of conceiving and sustaining the pregnancy. I have a pretty balanced menstrual cycle since last 6 months. Although I had mid cycle spotting issues in October 2016. But now its corrected through ayurvedic medications. I have never taken Birth control pills. Please suggest the treatment and also if we can try conceiving at this stage? Also is there any chance of having a pitutary tumor as I read in the posts in the forum? I Thanks

Hi I think you can conceive. To rule out pituitary tumour, get a MIR of brain done. If prolactin level is high, there is a chance of micro. So, better to rule it out. You can go for ovulation induction with timed intercourse for conceiving. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
