Hello Doctor
I took Plan B and after 5 days I started having vaginal bleeding which looks like menses. Is it normal? My menses Started on the 30th of JULY and I had sex and took plan B on the 11th of Aug. The bleeding started on the 16th of Aug. I am just Curious.
Thanks

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello and welcome,
Yes plan B does cause vaginal bleeding that may or may not be similar to menstrual bleed. Also your next cycle may be delayed. Consider first day of this bleeding as the first day of a new cycle and follow accordingly. So please do not worry. This is normal.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Thanks for using HCM.
