Does Over Dosage Of Lisinopril Have Any Side Effects?

I take lisinopril 10mg once a day and atorvastatin once at night. I took my lisinopril pill at 12pm and later on at 10pm I got my Astorvastatin mixed up with my lisinopril and mistakenly took it again. Will I be ok the rest of the night and tomorrow? What to do?

Hello
You are taking lisinopril in the morning , while atorvastatin in the evening .
Instead of one lisinopril 10 mg in 24 hours , you took two ( 2nd one mistakenly ) .
The normal dose of lisinopril is 5-20 mg in 24 hours ,while maximum allowable dose is 40 mg in 24 hours , so why are you worrying .
When maximum dose is 40 mg , you just took only 20 mg that too in 24 hours in divided doses , so need not to worry.
2nd point it ( lisinopril ) don't interact with atorvastatin , so not harm.
Only mild hypotension or nausea , dizziness may be there but for short time .
No consultation to anyone.
Good luck.
