Does Liver Disease Cause Pain Under Ribs Along With Back Pain?

i am haveing pain under my rib and at my back also i was just at the hospital and they said that i might have a problem with my liver cause back in 1982 when i got my gallbladder out they said that a part of my liver was bad do you have any suggestions

since you have of gall bladder surgery, you can have ultrasound of abdomen including liver gall bladder. liver function may be done. in case any abnormality detected should be treated accordingly. should take enzymes and bile substitutute. pancreas involvment is to be ruled out. take bland diet and avoid taking deepfried things.
