Does Intake Of Vitamin Supplements Cause Foul Smelling Urine?

I recently started taking several vitamins Biotin, vitamin C 1000mg, garcinia Cambodia, one a day multivitamin for women. My urine has an awful smell difficult to describe would any of these vitamins cause this? I have drank 5 bottles of water today hoping that would help. Not change yet. I have also changed my diet to fish and veggies only mainly greens. Please help

Hi,

Multivitamins usually changes color of the urine. They are never associated with change in odor of urine. This is probably a sign of urinary track infection. Yes, plenty of water can help but you need antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin along with it.

However it is prescription drug so you need to consult physician for prescription.
