Does Intake Of Birth Control Pills Before Unprotected Sex Prevent Pregnancy?

I am 18, I haven t taken my birth control pill for a week and my boyfriend wanted to hang out today, so I took 3 birth control pills 2 hours before we hung out. He thinks there s a possibility he pre-came in me. Should I go get plan b or what do you think

I have read your description and understand your concern.
Irregular intake birth control pills does not ensure protection against pregnancy. Also, taking 3 pills at a time does not ensure protection against pregnancy. It is advisable to use other modes of contraception like condoms and spermicidal agents when you are not taking birth control pills regularly.
Hence, it is advisable to take emergency contraceptive pill like Plan B. To ensure protection, you need to take it as early as possible, within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.
The pill would prevent pregnancy by causing withdrawal bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of its intake. In case, this does not happen, you need to seek medical attention immediately.
