Does Intake Of Telisa-H 80mg & Amlong Cause Any Side Effects?
I have been diagnosed with high BP 160/100. Consulted a cardiologist who has prescribed Telista-H 80mg O/D - 8.00 AM alongwith Neksium 20mg before breakfast & Amlong 5mg O/D - 8.00 PM. Worried about the side effects of consumption of Telisa-H 80mg & Amlong as per aforesaid schedule. Is it safe to go alongwith the above medication?
Generally these medicines are well tolerated. The common side effects of Telisa-H include low blood pressure, increased blood uric acid, increase blood sugar, and allergic reactions. The common side effects of Amlong include increased heartbeats, flushing, constipation and swelling around the ankles. As long you do not experience the troublesome side effects you may go along with these prescribed medicines.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
