Does Intake Of I Pill Cause Bleeding Between Periods?

Hi.... I m riya... I m 19 years old... I had sex with my bf after the 5the day of my periods, he WS wearing condom n later we realized that condom was broken n after few hours I took I pill... After 7 to 8 days of taking I pill I m bleeding now.. Is this the side effect of I pill? Will I get pregnant coz of this? Doctor please help me

I understand your concern
Just be relax
Bleeding after the use I pill does not indicate the pregnancy.
It is a side effect of the I pill. It cause breakthrough bleeding due to progesterone withdrawal effect. It will disappear in next 3-4 days.
You are not pregnant because:
1. You have did sex in just 5 days after the period and it is safe period of the cycle. During this time no ovum is released so no fertilization will occur.
2. As you took I pill with in few hours of sex it is highly effective around 95-97%.

So avoid stress, take healthy diet, maintain proper pelvic hygiene and do regular exercise.
Use barrier method of contraception to prevent the unwanted pregnancy.
