Does Hysterectomy Require Continuous Estrogen Therapy?

My 24 year old granddaughter is suffering from cervical cancer. She has the option of chemotherapy or a hysterectomy. If she has the hysterectomy will she have to be on estrogen therapy the rest of her life. Would estrogen therapy increase her chances of a heart attack?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the hysterectomy saves the ovaries then she may not be in need of any hormone, still over decision depend upon the severity of malignancy and metastasis, I suppose oncosuergeon would be the best judge, if estrogen therapy ever given to her then this would not cause any cardiac problem not even attack, hope this information helps, take care.
