I have been taking syrup bro-zedex for cough and bulgum for some time ( about 3 months ) when I had fungal infection . I am also asthma patient . Would like to know if the use of this syrup has some adverse effect on heart . Is there any harm in its long time usage . if I take the syrup intermittently whenever I feel congestion or a bit of coughing/ bulgum , is there some harm or should not take it .Request for advise . Thanks and regards.Nl chugh boston

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Its only concern is increased heart rate, so if your heart rate is between 60 to 100 per minute then you don't have to worry.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
