I have been to two dematologists. neither have had an answer. I am told I have eczema on on my left foot - it doesn t itch but it gets dry with red streaks. On my hands I am told it is exzema too - but it is little pimples that I can scratch open that turn into red dots then go away. neither my foot nor my hand itches.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Perhaps it is a fungal infection. Both hands and one foot involvement is quite typical of a fungal infection. I suggest you to take an oral antifungal tablet, e.g., Terbinafine once a day for 4 weeks. In addition, you can also apply a topical antifungal cream, e.g., Terbinafine 1% cream, twice daily for 4 weeks. These are prescription medications so kindly talk to your local practitioner for a prescription of the same.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Kakkar S.
