Does Disc Herination Affect Sexual Drive?

I am having disk herination on l4-l5 disc. its been 4 - 5 months now. The pain has reduced but its not gone completely and pains too much sometimes. If i mastubate, it pains in the lower back, just at the upper left hip the next day. Is it affecting my sexual capability slowly? do i visit some specialist to get an answer on this situation? Please help me with this. I am too much worried..

Hello!
Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

Your symptoms are quite common considering the disc herniation in this region. It is very common to have limitations of the physical activity due to a disc herniation. I would recommend trying physiotherapy, to help reinforce your back muscles. Surgery could be a possible treatment option of the herniated disc.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best regards!
