Does Cremaffin Syrup Possess Any Side Effect?
Sir ,my daughter is 1 and half yr old.I m giving cremaffin syrup for his constipation problem as suggested by my pediatrician .iwould like to know whether this syrup has got any side effects? .if i dont give the syrup for his its very difficlut to pass.he passed hard stool sometimes with blood .pl advise me . She suffering lot. I cant bare this problem daily.

Cremaffin is safe but for children below two years, lactulose will be a better option.
Do not over use laxatives as it can cause dependence. Include more fiber-rich foods in the diet.
You have to rule out conditions like hypothyroidism also as it can cause chronic constipation.
