Does Consumption Of Alcohol Cause Dry And Itchy Throat?

dr. i had i bottle of vodka last night and in between drinks i am drinking cold water...i stay up late also because i attended a party and the next day(late in the afternoon) my throat became itchy and dry and now i have the hoarseness of voice..is there any connection with the drinks? i foresee everytime i got any of the drinks containing alcohol my throats became itchy and dry

Your symptoms could be suggestive of a local inflammation, probably caused by the local cold water.

For this reason, I recommend using a local anti-septic spray for your throat and try not to talk for some days in order to help your voice get better.
