Does Chest Pain During Belching Indicate Artery Blockage?
My sister says that when she belches, sometimes it hurts her heart. She had an EKG done in her doctor's office and he indicated to her that she may have some problems and scheduled a stress test. Her blood pressure is good and cholesterol is 160. She does take medication for both. Should we worry she has major blockage she is 57,

2. is she doing regular exercises
3. is she overweight
4. how is her diet
5. how is her life style.

having a normal ECG and abnormal stres test are possible. But has to be related clinically for further treatment. If any treatment is planned before that a slow exercises should be initiated within the limits of the physiology. Also doing meditation and regular breathing exercise will be an add-on.
as you asked about the major blockage then it should give wild symptoms and the cardiologist won't wait for anything. so there is no major issue, sometimes taking stress will make more issue.
