Does Change In Eltroxin Dose And Birth Control Cause Mood Swings?
My eltroxin dose has been increased from 100 to 200 a day I am also takin Yasmin as birth control the increase has not seemed to help much and it has been 3 wks...my main concern is my mood changes and feeling down and im wondering if this is related to either or both

Did you increase the Eltroxin after doing a thyroid function test to assess your original dose or without?
Hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism ( from excess dose) do affect the mood.
Yasmin being a combination of two hormones can influence the mood in some people.
