Does Cerazette Cause Weight Gain?
I have been on cerazette for 6 years and have never had a period. I have had no problems except I think it has caused over time a lot of weight gain. I am on it cause I suffered from severe period pains and it has been good. I am thinking of changing to Yasmin? Would this be advisable? Thanks

Hello.Weight gain is a common side effect of Desogestrel and other differents birth control pills. Substituting Desogestrel to Drospirenone + Ethinylestradiol can be positive because Drospirenone has diuretic effect,avoiding fluid retention.
