Hi,
Your shooting pain has nothing to do with femur fracture. You seem to have a disc prolapse which hitches on your leg nerves when you lift heavy weights.
But if your hip hurts, you need to consult an Orthopaedician as it could be an early sign of avascular necrosis (decreased blood supply to the hip). However if it were a hairline fracture, chances of avascular necrosis are less likely.
You need to avoid lifting heavy weights and do back strengthening exercises.

Dear, please see an orthopedic surgeon.A hair line crack in femur before 4 years can not lead to pain in back today. There has to some other reason like muscular sprain, some nerve compression or something else. Please get your self examined and take treatment accordingly.During delivery undiagnosed element can lead to more pain.

Hi, I got a stress fracture in my lower back 13 years ago and have had some sharp pain on and off ever since but never anything long lasting or unmanageable. However, recently I have been having pain consistently throughout the day due, I believe, to me carrying my son around. Is there any reason for concern that the fracture is still causing this much pain?

Hi I have been on birth control constantly for about 7 months now. I had a UTI almost a week ago and that has cleared up. My period is due in about 10 days and I am having pretty bad back aches. I had a BM today (first time in about 3 days) but I feel constipated. My stomach feels slightly hard all over. I also took a home pregnancy test last night and it was a very clear negative. Could i have an ectopic pregnancy? What could be the cause of my lower back pain?

I have what feels like a hairline crack in my skull, above my left eye going from my forehead into my hairline. It s only a small indent, but is noticeable to touch, approx. 3 inches long. I ve not suffered any head trauma to cause this, and I ve not been suffering from any headaches, dizziness etc. I had a Cat scan & found this lesion & also one on my left hip bone. I have RA (Arthritis) & wondering if this would attribute to that? Also what are other possibilities?

Taking a PPI for a couple years now on a daily basis due to non erosive gastritis. Recent dexa scan shows 5.4% decrease in the values within the lumbar spine and 9.7% decrease in the values within the total left hip. These are significant.
