Does A Scab On The Pubic Area Suggest STD?
Hi doctor. Nothing serious here. Just a quick question. On the very top of my pubic mound is a little scab. It could not be a sexually transmitted disease by any means. Should I be worried about this or is this normal? I typically get little bumps (and sometimes hard-bigger pink bumps) all on my pubic mound after shaving. I have recently been shaving my pubic mound so I do not know if this has anything to do with it.

This may not be the lesion due to any STD but this could be folliculitis, just keep the area clean and take care for good hygiene, for the pain and inflammation you can use any anti-inflammatory drug only if it is needed else this would be fine, hope this information helps, take care.
