Hi
Welcome to health care magic , thanks for query.
You are taking lyrica ( pregabalin) but why ?
You did not mention as this is indicated for many diseases .
While valsartan is an anti hypertensive .
It means , you are a hypertensive patient .
Swelling on your hands may be due to many reasons , few of them are :
1 Side effects of lyrica like weight gain , peripheral edema arthralgia , myalgia ( as you mentioned that hard to bend ).
Valsatan don,t produces such side effects. However in very rare cases sometime valsartan causes angiedema ( rareky).
So for this consult your treating physician.
2 Congestive heart failure is another reason of such symptoms.
3 Chronic renal failure is one such possibility , because you are already a hypertensive patient . Diagnosis can be confirmed by blood examination for serum creatinine , blood urea , uric acid .
In my opinion consult your treating physician and discuss in detail .
Hope this information will be useful for you .
