Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my husband has relaping remittent MS. We went and saw a specialist at OSHU in Oregon as per his MS doctor at Providence St. Vincent in PDX OR. The OSHU doctor said he has MS seizures. He has never seen that and my husband was his first. What do you know of them?
hello! MS is a disease of the central nervous system, mainly causes demyelination and degenerative changes in different areas of the brain. As a result of these demyelinating changes along with inflammatory changes seizures are known to occur. The course of and prognosis of seizures vary from individual to individual depending on the severity of MS. Before diagnosing MS seizures it is important to rule out all other possible causes of seizures.
