Can Seizures Cause Hemiparesis And Dysphagia?

Can seizures cause hemiparesis and dysphagia? A friend developed symptoms that mirrored Multiple Sclerosis. Extensive tests were done (EEG, MRI, CT) and it appeared it was MS, however the neurologist stated, no lesions found to confirm MS . Could Jacksonian Seizures result in sudden muscle weakness in one part of the body?
